Description

The changes to DefaultTypeConverterFactory have broken Stripersist. The EntityTypeConverter is no longer found because TypeHandlerCache short-circuits the search before checking the target type's annotations for registered type converters.

Fixed on the trunk in r1108. The original title of this issue said this affected release 1.5.1, but it doesn't.
